World-Wide Amateur Radio Operators

This is a World-Wide listing of Amateur Radio Operators who work for or are retired from the IBM Corporation or a related company, along with their licensed family members. This listing is available to IBM security departments and Amateur Radio Clubs around the world as an emergency communications resource.

Add/Remove/Update listing

Update the WWHAM listing in one of the following ways:

  • If you are an active employee with a Lotus/Notes client and company issued ID, or a retired employe who still has a Notes client, you can access the database on the external server and update your own document. You should not need a connection document since the server and host names are the same.
    • Server name: wa2ibm.net/walters/us
    • Host address: wa2ibm.net
    • Database path: ibmarc\wwham.nsf

If you have a Lotus/Notes client, but no longer have a valid Notes ID, please contact me for assistance.
The IBM Internal network server (SNJLN000) no longer hosts the WWHAM database.

It's possible that you may be unable to update your own record if you have not been made the "owner" of that record. If this is the case, then please send Roger Root or me a note and ask that we place your Notes username in the owners field of your document. We will need to know your full hierarchical Notes name (such as Bill Walters/San Jose/IBM). If you do not have a record in the database, you can add one, thus becoming the owner of that record.
  • If you are retired and no longer have a Notes client, you will need to contact Bill Walters, WA2IBM with your update. He has the ability to make updates to the database. Alternatively, you may contact one of the regional WWHAM Focal Points to have them update your record. Select the Focal Point tab above to see a listing of those individuals.
